1. Introduction

Welcome to Zowa. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) define the rules governing your access to and use of the Zowa application and its related services.

By installing the app, registering an account, or otherwise using Zowa, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of them, you must discontinue use of the service immediately.

Zowa is an interactive voice-based social platform where users can join audio chat rooms, communicate with others in real time, and participate in social entertainment activities. In order to maintain a safe and respectful community environment, all users must follow the rules outlined in these Terms.

From time to time, Zowa may update or revise these Terms. Any modifications will take effect once published within the application. Continued use of the service after updates indicates your acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Services

Zowa offers various social and interactive features, including but not limited to:

  • Voice Chat Rooms – Users can create or join live audio rooms to communicate with others instantly.
  • User Discovery Features – Tools designed to help users meet new people, join conversations, and interact around shared interests.
  • Virtual Gifts and Digital Items – Users may send or receive virtual gifts as part of social interactions within the platform.

All services must be used in compliance with these Terms, other applicable platform policies, and relevant laws.

3. Prohibited Conduct

Users must not engage in any activities that violate these Terms or threaten the safety of the community. Prohibited behavior includes, but is not limited to:

  • Sharing or publishing illegal, violent, hateful, abusive, or discriminatory content
  • Posting sexually explicit material or harmful content
  • Harassing, threatening, or exploiting other users
  • Participating in scams, fraud, gambling activities, or misinformation campaigns
  • Attempting to bypass platform moderation systems
  • Impersonating other individuals or entities
  • Uploading or distributing any content involving minors

Serious violations may lead to immediate enforcement actions, including suspension or permanent account removal.

4. Eligibility

Zowa is intended only for individuals who meet the minimum legal age requirement in their jurisdiction, and in any case must be at least 18 years old.

By using the platform, you represent and confirm that:

  • You meet the applicable minimum age requirement
  • You are legally capable of entering into this agreement
  • You agree to comply with these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and all related platform guidelines

Accounts suspected of belonging to underage users may be removed without prior notice.

5. Accounts

Account Creation – Users may register for Zowa through supported login methods, including third-party authentication services such as Google.

Account Responsibility – Each account is intended for individual use only. You may not share your account credentials, transfer ownership, or allow others to operate your account without authorization.

Account Restrictions – Zowa reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts in situations including: violations of these Terms, behavior that compromises the safety or integrity of the community, detection of illegal, abusive, or fraudulent activities. Such actions may be taken with or without advance notice depending on the severity of the violation.

Account Deletion – Users may permanently remove their account through Settings → Delete Account. After confirmation: all personal data and account records will be erased; virtual currency, digital items, and balances will be permanently lost; the account cannot be restored. All virtual assets are non-refundable, and the deletion process is irreversible.

6. User Content and Community Rules

While using Zowa, users may upload or share text, voice recordings, images, or other materials (“User Content”). All shared content must comply with the platform’s rules and applicable laws.

6.1 Restricted Content – The following types of content are not allowed: any material involving minors; harassment, bullying, or intimidation; pornographic or sexually explicit content; content encouraging illegal or dangerous actions; malware, viruses, or harmful software; content that violates intellectual property or other legal rights.

6.2 Responsibility for Content – Users are solely responsible for any content they publish or distribute on Zowa. Violations may result in removal of the content, temporary suspension of account privileges, permanent account termination, or legal actions where required by law.

7. Intellectual Property

License to Zowa – By uploading or sharing User Content, you grant Zowa a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, modify, display, and distribute the content for the purpose of operating and promoting the service.

Ownership Representation – You confirm that you either own the content you submit or have the legal rights to share it.

Platform Ownership – All software, trademarks, graphics, designs, and other materials related to Zowa remain the exclusive property of the platform. Users receive only a limited, personal, and non-transferable right to use the application.

Content Moderation – Zowa reserves the right to review, restrict, or remove content that violates platform policies or applicable laws.

8. Privacy

The collection and processing of personal information are governed by the Zowa Privacy Policy.

The Privacy Policy explains: what types of data are collected; how information is used and protected; the rights available to users. Please review the Privacy Policy carefully.

9. Disclaimer

Zowa provides its services on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zowa does not guarantee: continuous or uninterrupted service availability; error-free operation of the platform; accuracy or reliability of features and content; suitability of the service for specific purposes. Use of the platform is entirely at your own risk.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the extent allowed by applicable law, Zowa shall not be responsible for: losses caused by the use or inability to use the service; actions or content generated by other users; unauthorized access to user accounts; technical failures, outages, or interruptions.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend and indemnify Zowa, its affiliates, employees, and partners against any claims, damages, or expenses resulting from: your use of the platform; violations of these Terms; infringement of third-party rights.

12. Service Changes

Zowa reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the service at any time. These Terms may also be revised due to updates to platform features; legal or regulatory changes; security or operational considerations. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you must stop using the service.

14. User Generated Content (UGC) Policy

Zowa allows users to create and share content including text, voice, images, and other media. Content monitoring may use automated systems and human moderation. We reserve the right to remove, restrict, or disable access to any content that violates these Terms. Users can report inappropriate content. Enforcement includes content removal, temporary restrictions, account suspension, permanent termination.

15. Reporting and Blocking

Users can report harassment, illegal content, spam, or minor-related content via in-app tools. Blocking allows users to prevent unwanted interaction. Moderation team reviews reports and may take appropriate action.

16. Virtual Currency and Digital Items

Zowa may provide virtual items, digital gifts, or in-app currency for entertainment purposes. They have no real-world monetary value, cannot be redeemed for cash, and are non-refundable unless required by law. Users are responsible for all purchases made through their accounts.

17. Safety and Abuse Prevention

Zowa actively works to detect and prevent abuse: spam, fraudulent transactions, manipulation of systems, attempts to bypass moderation. Accounts involved may be restricted or permanently banned.

18. Child Safety

Zowa has a zero-tolerance policy regarding child exploitation or abuse. The platform strictly prohibits any content involving minors in sexual or exploitative contexts, grooming, or sharing CSAM. If detected, content will be immediately removed, accounts permanently banned, and authorities notified where required. Users are encouraged to report suspected violations.

19. Compliance with Platform Policies

Users must comply with all applicable platform policies, including those of Google Play. Violations may result in feature restrictions, account suspension, or removal from the platform.

  • Device & System Data: model, OS version, app version, resolution, identifiers (GAID/IMEI), network details.

  • Approximate Location: derived from IP or network signals.
  • Security Monitoring: automated analysis to detect spam, fraud, or violations.

  • Third-Party Login Services: Apple, Google, Facebook (basic account details per your settings).
  • Business Partners: analytics, advertising, payment processors (as per their policies).
